Soy Sauce

Brown Sugar
Cinnamon
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
**Sauce**
Hoisin Sauce
Vegan Oyster Sauce
Soy Sauce
Oil
Ginger Powder
Water
Starch
**Dough**
500g Flour
100g Sugar
10g Baking Powder
100g Soy Milk
50g Water
30g Oil
### Directions
1. Combine marinade ingredients; make enough to fully coat meat
2. Add meat and let marinade overnight
3. Sauté meat until golden
4. Mix sauce ingredients, except for starch and water; make a similar amount to your marinade
5. Add sauce to meat mixture in pan
6. Heat until sauce is near boiling
7. In a small bowl, combine a small amount of starch and water, use fingers to mix and make sure there are no clumps
8. Add starch mixture to sauce, and heat until it thickens. If it doesn’t thicken enough to be rather thick, repeat step 7.
9. Take off heat
10. Make dough by first combining dry ingredients in one bowl and wet in another. Adjust dough with water and flour as needed
11. Then bring together and knead until the dough is bouncy. Cover and let the gluten rest for an hour.
12. Cut into 12 pieces, or about 3-6 cm in size, depending on how big the buns you want will be.
13. Roll buns into balls
14. Press a well into the center of a ball and then add meat mixture into it; not too much, or you can’t close it.
15. Close the bun according to your great-grandmother’s traditional technique passed down to you when you were 8.
16. Set up your bamboo steamer and line with parchment paper.
17. Steam for 20 minutes
18. Enjoy
